Methodology

Ventilation and odor control used:
Conventional confined space entry with 48-Inch Barrel Fan (110V) and 36-Inch Blower Fan (230/460V-5HP)
Rehab method used:
Danby – Spiral Wound method using Danby PL3F (1/2") Profile.
Cleaning method used (if required) and who cleaned the line:
Combination of Boyer's Patented Debris Removal System using winch and pulley system followed by Hydro Blast by Boyer, Inc. 310 tons of debris removed.
Method of flow bypass or diversion, if used:
Bypass System, and upstream plug.

Hurdles

Problems encountered during construction:
Prior to Danby installation, an upstream plug was blown out and had to be replaced. No problems after Danby installation began.
